A circus dream came true - 31 aerial friends and myself opened the Brit Awards at the O2 with the man who definitely earned the title, "The Greatest Showman" - Hugh Jackman. I was one of the eight silks artists, with my sister, Maddy, on one of the giant chandeliers rigged by High Performance Productions. Circus consultancy was done by Roger Robinson of Acrobat Productions.

To perform in the O2, rigged above Hugh Jackman, dancers, fire artists and trickers was an incredible and special experience. The show was screened live on ITV and YouTube. Atlantic Records posted a high quality video of the act...

My makeup was done by Austri Vivas, with a Twiggy style look.

Leyla and I joined Le Bouge Neon show on a trip to the Seychelles to perform for a private client. The 70s disco cabaret entertained guests on the beautiful island, before we flew back to London for our Leicester Square Theatre show.

We are ever so grateful to see such stunning parts of the world as part of our job, and love being part of the Bouge show team.

It was the first time that we had flown with our Aerial Sphere, and turned out to be very easy! We just checked it in as a normal hold item with Emirates, and took it to oversize. It appeared at the other end in perfect condition, ready for us to be transformed into the Human Mirror Ball.

Katie Hardwick brought together a team of circus performers and riggers, to work with Circus Suburbia and Petersham Road on entertainment for a woodland themed wedding reception.

Last night, Desiree Kongerod and myself performed an ambient silks dance as guests entered the stunning Science Museum venue in London, for an evening of entertainment and dining. We accompanied the champagne reception, ahead of opening speeches, after which we returned to perform a tightly synchronised aerial dance to wow the guests. Choreographed by viva Aerial Dance, we were pleased that our diligent rehearsals paid off with a clean and fluid performance. Thanks to Ben Smith of Artful Rigging, for keeping us safe.

Impact Artists invited Starfiz to perform at the Celtic Manor in Wales, as the wow factor entertainment at a Roman themed charity ball for Alzheimer's Research. Leyla was away, so the talented Rebecca Rennison joined me for a synchronised silks act and a doubles hoop act.

Guest, Richie Jones, tweeted a little clip of our silks act... "How fab was this?" (click for link to Tweet).

Late last year, Leyla and I performed our Aerial Sphere act at the wonderful Secret Winter Gala, with the event raising over £1million for charity, Save the Children.

Les Enfants Terribles recreated scenes from Alice's Adventures Underground (Vaults, Waterloo) in the beautiful Guildhall venue in London.

Leyla and I were made to look like the same person - Alice in Wonderland - with the help of wigs, matching costumes and makeup. We stood behind mirrors and interacted with guests as they enterted the party.

One of the evening's highlights was a performance by The Staves, to which we performed our aerial act.

Leyla and I spent much of the Christmas season under the starcloth of the Bloomsbury Big Top. Most nights we were performers in Cirque Extraordinaire - a dinner show with aerialists and acrobats from around the world. But one night we joined theatre company Les Enfants Terribles and band Tankus the Henge to create "Tonight at the Empire" - a theatrical circus show.

I was asked to pitch showstopping ideas for this year's London Bierfest, an Oktoberfest inspired event in the City of London. The event organisers were keen to use the imagery of aerial circus to wow visitors at the popular event in the Old Billingsgate Hall.

With Circus Suburbia, I put together two show options for Bierfest - two circus shows with a variety of aerial and ground based circus acts and a compere, with each act taking on a Bavarian or beer theme. For example, taking a water juggling act by Jon Udry and replacing the water with beer. The other option was a variety of aerial acts performed to a live band, and this is the option we went for.

My aerial partner, Leyla, and I, put together a mix of aerial acts to entertain the guests at the hugely fun and lively event. Together, we made a two woman aerial show which we performed with the energetic band, the Voodoo Love Orchestra.

I opened the show with a rope act, dressed in lederhosen and performing to the live band's version...

I spent the last two weekends performing at glamorous events on aerial hoop, combining ambient aerial dance and aerial bar tending to entertain guests with something a bit different. Interactive aerial performance!

The first weekend was with The Dream Performance at Old Billingsgate, where we wore red noses and floated in the air with balloons above our hoops.

The black tie event was organised by businessman Theo Paphitis, owner of Ryman Stationery and Robert Dyas, to raise money for charity Comic Relief.

Posing in silver catsuits with Amy Panter.

As guests entered the Old Billingsgate venue, Tink, Amy and I performed ambient aerial hoop dance and poured champagne into glasses from above.

We were lucky enough to stay after the drinks reception and watch three amazing entertainers take to the stage! Singer Lulu, comedian Lenny Henry and musician / comedian Kev Orkian.

I spent the first two weeks of 2015 on holiday in Morocco, rock climbing in the Todra Gorge, hiking in the Draa Valley and horse riding on the beach in Essaouira. Tonight was back to performing, at a lovely 21st birthday party where I performed a Viva silks act and ambient silks with the beautiful and talented Desiree Kongerod. Ben Smith, the Artful Rigger, made sure we were safe and filmed us with a go-pro so that I could get this snap of us in action. Here's to a fun filled year of beautiful aerial performances for 2015!
