The Circus Space Turns 25

Starfiz aged about 14, in the Generating Chamber at The Circus Space (now NCCA).

This September, the National Centre for Circus Arts is celebrating 25 years of Britain's powerhouse of contemporary circus.

This powerhouse began as The Circus Space, and I joined it when I was eight years old. I can't wait for 5th September, when a party is being thrown for all the people who made the Circus Space happen, for the teachers and students who have used and contributed to the institution over the years. I can't wait to see the teachers who inspired me to become a circus performer and the people who made the Circus Space happen. Some I haven't seen for 17 years and I want to thank them for their teaching when I was a kid, and to hear what they are doing now.
