I performed as the long-haired princess, Rapunzel, at a black tie gala dinner event with a Twisted Fairytale theme last week. Livestock Productions commissioned the silk dress costume and braided hair piece, which I spent weeks sewing and weaving in preparation for the bespoke event. I performed ambient sets on aerial hoop, suspended from a birdcage structure which was decorated with flowers.
This act can now be performed either freestanding in the birdcage, or on an aerial frame, suspended from a rigging point in any suitable venue.
I wanted to create an ethereal, couture inspired dress, and a hair piece to look as natural as possible (whilst using synthetic hair!).
