Aerial Bar Tending

I spent the last two weekends performing at glamorous events on aerial hoop, combining ambient aerial dance and aerial bar tending to entertain guests with something a bit different. Interactive aerial performance!

COMIC RELIEF BLACK TIE FUNDRAISER

The first weekend was with The Dream Performance at Old Billingsgate, where we wore red noses and floated in the air with balloons above our hoops.

The black tie event was organised by businessman Theo Paphitis, owner of Ryman Stationery and Robert Dyas, to raise money for charity Comic Relief.

As guests entered the Old Billingsgate venue, Tink, Amy and I performed ambient aerial hoop dance and poured champagne into glasses from above.

We were lucky enough to stay after the drinks reception and watch three amazing entertainers take to the stage! Singer Lulu, comedian Lenny Henry and musician / comedian Kev Orkian.

STUNNING WEDDING IN IRELAND

Over the bank holiday weekend, Starfiz were booked to perform ambient aerial hoop and aerial bar tending at a lavish wedding celebration in Ireland. Lilli Muhleisen joined me to perform in a silver catsuit and diamante hair piece in the grounds of the Adare Manor Hotel and Golf Resort.

Our first set was a freestyle aerial dance to the 16 piece band playing on stage, as we were suspended on motors above the guests and amongst chandeliers.

Our second set was a champagne pouring set to re-fill guests' glasses from the air.

Aerial bar tending is a decadent and fun experience to include in drinks receptions, as aerial dance / acrobatics can be incorporated into a functional role as well as a visually stunning piece of event entertainment.
